NOTICE is hereby given that HATTIESBURG CLINIC DIALYSIS UNITS will receive sealed proposals for the above referenced project until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday June 10th, 2025. Bid opening will be held at the Transitional Care Area, Cloverleaf Medical Plaza, 5909 US 49 #10, Hattiesburg, Mississippi 39402.

A single contract shall be let for the complete project including all general construction. The Owner is requesting bids from qualified bidders. It is the intent of the Owner to award a Contract to the lowest qualified Bidder but reserves the right to select the Bidder they feel is the best, which may not necessarily be the lowest bid. All bidders should be aware of the possibility their bid may not be accepted even if it is the low bid. The Owner shall have the right to accept Alternates in any order or combination and to determine the low bidder on the sum of the Base Bid and Alternates accepted as well as contract time, subject to the provisions of Section 31-7-13 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, annotated and amended, and other applicable State laws. Refer to Project Specifications, Section 00100- Instructions to Bidders, for additional Bidding procedures and requirements. The Owner shall have the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities and irregularities.

The Contract Time, from notice to proceed until Substantial Completion, shall be specified by Bidder. The estimated days for completion may be considered in making final selection.

The prescribed liquidated damages amount for this project will be $ 500.00 Per day for project overrun.

Bidders must be licensed by the State of Mississippi and shall indicate a valid Certificate of Responsibility number on the outside of the bid envelope for the bid for all bids over $50,000.00 to be considered.

Bidder Qualification Requirement:

All contractors submitting proposals for this project must demonstrate verifiable experience in the construction or renovation of healthcare facilities, with specific emphasis on Dialysis Centers or similar outpatient medical treatment facilities. Bidders shall provide a minimum of three (3) completed projects within the past five (5) years that involved work of comparable scope, complexity, and regulatory requirements. Each example must include the project name, location, scope of work, client reference, and contact information. Failure to provide this documentation may result in disqualification from the bidding process. Qualification Statements should be sent to Architect’s office and approved before bid opening.

All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to 5% the amount of the bid, in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or a bid bond written by a company properly licensed in Mississippi.

The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a payment and performance bonds written by a company licensed in Mississippi. The bond will be in the amount equal to 100% the contract amount.

The above general outline of features of the work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, equipment, and materials required by the Contract Documents referred to therein.

Proposals shall only be accepted when submitted upon the Bid Form provided with the Plans and Specifications. All blanks shall be completed legibly in ink. Submission of a bid represents that the bidder understands the Plans and Specifications and has visited and assessed the site.

Each bid must be received in a sealed envelope which is marked in the lower left-hand corner EXACTLY as follows:
